Apogee Instruments

Apogee produces the Alta, AP and KX series CCD cameras.

Alta cameras are available with 100baseT interfaces for ethernet/internet use, or a USB 2.0 interface for the highest download speed possible.

The AP and KX cameras utilize a high-speed PCI interface. For the highest sensitivity applications, we recommend the Alta E47+ with a megapixel back-illuminated Marconi sensor.

Santa Barbara Instrument Group

Santa Barbara Instrument Group produces the ST and STL series cameras. Most SBIG camera models feature integrated autoguiders. We recommend the two megapixel ST-2000XM as an excellent value for astrophotographers.
